APPLICATIONS

The DUROSTICK D-65 is ideal for fast leveling concrete floors, cement or old mosaics to be coated with glued marbles, tiles, plastic flooring, carpet, parquet, forged cement etc. The smooth surface offers allows it to remain as a final coating for floors ground (fig. 6), batteries, household storage etc.

USE

Ensure that the substrate is stable, strong, without cracks and gaps and clean of dust, oil, grease and loose debris. The substrate should, before applying the material primed with micromolar stabilizer AQUAFIX or acrylic D-20 by DUROSTICK emulsion is diluted with water in ratio 1: 1 (or D-20 consumption 1lt / 5m2) .The molding material followed as emulsion is fresh.

2. Application:

Empty the D-65 by DUROSTICK a clean container with water at a ratio of 25kg per 6-6,5lt water, stirring with a low speed drill, until a homogeneous mass without lumps (Fig. 1). Allow the mixture to age for 1-2 minutes and stir again. Spread the material starting from one corner of the floor (fig. 2), using a large rubber spatula jointing (T) with a pole or a wide trowel assisting material to distribute equal width on the floor (fig. 3-4). The release any air bubbles is achieved by a tough street-cleaning broom (fig. 5) or pass with a spiked roller.

REMARKS

• For applications in larger thicknesses up to 30mm and use the self-leveling mortar DUROSTICK D-64.

• The material when it starts to coagulate should be used and is not mixed again with water.

• The final surface must be protected from frost and high temperatures and impregnated for the next 24 hours.
